The Commonwealth Games theme song, Jiyo Utho Badho Jeeto, by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, was unveiled at a glittering function in Gurgaon on Saturday. The theme song was recently cleared by the Group of Ministers headed by Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy. “We are working hard and we know we can do it,” Commonwealth Games organising committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi said at the launch function.

Delhi and Haryana Chief Ministers Sheila Dikshit and Bhupinder Singh Hooda were also present on the occasion.

The movie Robot (Enthiran) audio will be launched by Amitabh Bachchan today at Mumbai. Big B will be become chief guest at the audio launch time in Mumbai.

Amitabh has tweeted in his Twiiter account as, “Tonight music release of Robot‘ -Rajini and Ash film. I will be releasing the album. It’s always good to meet up with Rajini.”

The Hindi audio is being marketed by Venus and the function is being held at Marriott.

Stars from Kollywood are also expected to take part in the function along with actors in Mumbai like Reema Sen , Shriya among others.

Software giant Microsoft on Thursday afternoon sent invitations for the launch of Internet Explorer 9 beta. The company has fixed September 15^th for the launch of IE9 in San Francisco. The invitation sent out to the event is called “Beauty of the Web”.

Previously Microsoft have disclosed that IE9 beta would be released in September this year.

The IE9 developers have focused on two main objectives of speed and standards support. So IE9 takes the advantage of graphics hardware acceleration using the Direct X version which is present in Windows Vista and Windows 7. So Windows XP users can’t take the benefits and advantage of  the new latest faster browser from Microsoft.

IE9 will be compliant with the upcoming latest web standards that support HTML5, SVG, and CSS3. Speculation spread that the latest browser may have Google Chrome like “tab on top”. One another idea came up that the new IE9 can have user interface which may resemble to Zune/Windows Phone 7 “Metro” look.

Let’s see how the latest browser will perform in the market and will tech pundits pass it as “the most fastest browser till date”. IE9 will have direct competition by rival ‘Google Chrome’, ‘Firefox’, Netscape Navigator’ etc.

India’s largest telecom service provider company Bharti Airtel has been announced that it will be launch Apple’s latest product iPhone 4 in September-October in India.

Bharti Airtel CEO Sanjay Kapoor said to media that, “We are working with Apple. Hopefully, we will launch it in the September-October time frame.”

Before Airtel, Vodafone had spoken to launch Apple iPhone 4 in June without specifying any time and date but Airtel will be launch iPhone 4 in October.

Bharti Airtel iPhone 3GS 16 GB (Rs. 35,500) and 32 GB (Rs. 41,500) models are already sold in India and it will be get a boost demand by end of the year due to iPhone 4 model.

US based Apple Inc. had launched iPods, iPhones and iPads last month in US with sharper screen including video chat features.
