Today whole day Indian equities remain dull for trade and it is down with 48 points. Metals, energy, good capital and auto stocks are under pressure due to down situation of selling.

BSE Sensex which was opened at 17,523.47 points and closed 17,460.95 points. Means it is down 48.38 points or 0.28 percent down. It’s previous close at 17,509.33 points.

NSE Nifty 50-share S&P CNX Nifty closed at 5,227.6 points which is 0.45 percent lower than its previous close which was at 5,251.4 points.

The market breadth was positive, with 1,445 scrips on the advance, compared to 1,430 stocks declining, and 126 remaining unchanged.

In other Asian markets, investors continued to sell on persistent fears over the US economic recovery. The US monthly jobs report will be out later Friday.
